JILI77 Responsible Play: Help Lines and Limits for Filipinos
Play only if you are 21 or older, and set your limits before the first spin, not after a bad run. This page covers the limits worth setting, the warning signs to watch for and where a player in the Philippines can turn for help. The statements about the regulator come from its responsible gaming page, which this site read on 2 October 2026.
Limits to set before a session
- Pick a spending limit you could lose without touching rent, food, bills or loans.
- Pick a time limit and stop when it ends.
- Decide in advance the win at which you stop.
- Never borrow money to play.
- Never chase losses with a bigger stake.
PAGCOR’s responsible gaming reminders say the same in fewer words: gambling is not a source of income, set time limits for each session, never borrow money or use all of your resources for gambling, and do not chase your losses.
The 21+ rule
PAGCOR lists persons under 21 years of age among those prohibited from gambling, and the same list covers government officials, employees and uniformed personnel and persons in the National Database of Restricted Persons. Those people are barred from entering and playing in any gaming establishment and from playing on any online gaming platform. This site follows the 21+ line on every page.
Warning signs
| Sign | What it looks like |
|---|---|
| Betting more than meant | Stakes creep up |
| Playing longer than planned | One more spin, again |
| Trying to win back losses | Chasing after each loss |
| Money trouble | Debt, missed bills, borrowing |
PAGCOR adds that problem gambling can mean constant thoughts about gambling, strained relationships with family and feeling hopeless, anxious or depressed. If two or more of these fit, stop and talk to someone.
Where to turn for help
PAGCOR’s page lists accredited help centres. Two of them publish a number:
| Centre | Number on PAGCOR’s page |
|---|---|
| National Problem Gambling Helpline | Landline (02) 8248 9568 |
| Gamblers Anonymous Philippines | Mobile 0915 938 2808 |
The page also lists Gam-Anon Philippines, Seagull’s Flock, Bridges of Hope and other centres with websites, and you can find them on PAGCOR’s responsible gaming page. Spouses, children and parents can apply for a family exclusion for someone who needs help.
Self-exclusion
PAGCOR runs an Online Self-Exclusion Application Portal, osea.pagcor.ph. Open it to apply to be excluded. Read the periods and terms on the portal itself, because they are set there and this site does not restate them.
Step back and keep limits
Use your device’s own tools to cap your time, and read responsible betting for the wider habits behind limits, diaries and cooling-off breaks. Read about this site if you want to know who writes these pages.
